Thomas B. Hanes

I have been practicing law continuously since graduation from The University of Alabama School of Law in 1976. At one time or another, I have done or seen most things that exist in the practice and in the courts. My experience includes scores of appeals, a few hundred jury cases, and innumerable bench trials and administrative hearings. There will always be changes in the law but I remain proud that the generation of lawyers before me instilled the ethics of honor and hard work- values that never change.

My current Practice is primarily in the following areas:

1) General Litigation in all Federal, State and Municipal Courts
2) Social Security Disability
3) Administrative Law and regulatory matters, including matters before licensing boards
4) Criminal Defense
5) General Practice and Litigation

If you have a problem that it is not in my area of practice, I will be glad to refer you to one of my colleagues who can better serve your needs.
